Fridge Freezing Like Mad!!!

My daughter`s fridge freezes everything solid.She defrosted it the other day ..but it is still freezing like mad!
Coulld it be the thermostat?

Will have the model later on today...make is Candy...personally would not touch that make with a barge pole...she was given it a couple of years back and worked fine until now.

That`s what I thought ...can buy a thermostat inline...just waiting for my daughter to let me have the Model Number...hope that is the problem.
