Frame For Up And Over Garage Door.

The wooden frame on our Henderson up and over garage steel door needs to be replaced as the support bar holding the spring is rotting. Any idea how much would a complete new wooden frame cost to supply and re erect. I understand that the wood used is quite cheap. Also, should i get a carpenter or a builder/handyman etc.

Probably more suited to a good handyman, Porkie. It's a simple enough job, though a little time-consuming as the door gear would have to be removed and set up again afterwards.
