Ptotecting Back Of Wardrobe From The Cold
I put my wardrobe along an outside wall but now the colder weather is here the back of it feels slightly damp (could just be cold).I saw a post about this but cannot find it now.
I am thinking along the lines of putting something like roll polysterene (if you can still get it) or anything you ABS can suggest on the outside back of wardrobe.
Suggestions will be accepted very gratefully.
Thanks

Very little heat gets into a wardrobe, so the problem you have is with condensation. If I'm "building-in" wardrobes, I always leave the door(s) short at the top and the bottom. Say around 25-30mm. That helps provide some warm crossflow ventilation through.

Yes, I'm sure it'll hold if stuck to the back of the wardrobe with heavy duty paste.
Wak's idea is even better.
Also, you could use an 8'x4' (2400mmx1200mm) sheet of Celotex. Just glue it to the back...........

You can get it from any Builders' Merchants, thicknesses from 12mm up.
