Your Opinions Please, On Decorating..
I am going to repaint my bungalow (4 years old) hall.
It has 5 doors which are the ones that most modern dwellings have these days, white with 6 panels, that look like plastic, IMO.
I was thinking of painting a different colour for each door, not a deep gloss, just a relaxing light shade.
The colour of the walls are painted in magnolia emulsion which I intend to keep.
Do you think it would look stupid?

Agree with Rocky, there are some fab 'muted' shades out there - heritage duck egg, sage green etc. It's your home, so do what you like with it.
Personally I would choose one colour, but you never know, it may turn out great.
Just as long as you don't go too dark with the pigment or it might end up looking more like this...

trt; if you are doing it simply to break up the monotony, you could try painting the panels of the doors in differing complimentary shades using satin finish. For instance, the top two panels in one shade of, say, blue; the middle panels in a slightly darker shade of blue, and the bottom panels in another slightly darker shade of blue. A lot of messing about, granted, but no more so than painting every door a different colour. The main framework of the door would be white and it wouldn't matter what colour you choose as magnolia is a neutral. Whatever you decide, you will have to try and upload a photo to show us how it turns out.
