Why doesn't he have his choo choos in the house?
You should see that as a lucky escape and a chance to upgrade security. If the thieves mention the trains to someone they might come back.
They wouldn't have got to far an 00 gauge train!

Good that they didn't take anything but not nice to know you've been broken into.

Hope the extra security acts as a deterrent.
Perhaps they, themselves, will come back. If they were looking for bikes, they can be wheeled away. They will probably need transport to carry the trains in. I'd be very vigilant over the next few nights, mm, especially if it's windy. Masks any sound they may make.

No room in house..it's too big a layout...has two alarms two lights and a haspless padlock....no bits to cut ...but don't think he'll sleep tonight...
Idiots, hope you are ok minty? Glad they didn't take anything though. Let me know if you want to borrow the hound to bite their bums and I'll send him over xx
How about a loud alarm consisting of the piercing high pitched shriek of a train whistle combined with the gushing sound of escaping steam and the thundering clatter of wheels pounding along tracks: that would make the fakirs shyte lumps of coal if they tried it again!
There was a mention on a thread earlier today about a burglar who had an accident escaping from a house, fell over a fence or something,MIT his head and died. What did we think?

When it's your own place, I think ... you got what was coming. If someone burgles your own home, you just want them to have an unfortunate accident and kill themselves.
could you not put trainset in loft

Not enough head room because of pitch in attic...besides where would I keep my rubbish ?
Get it in the house and put something of lesser value in the shed.
i.e. the rubbish LOL.
Put the train set in the house and keep your pet alligator in the shed! sorted!
Georgiesmum, that's a load of crock.

I've got stand-ins for the Dobies in my avatar, the real ones have donned their kilts and are heading, incognito, north of the border as we speak!
;-)
...desperately searching the internet for a video of a shed alarm that sounds like a train whistle.....
They could maybe get one custom-made..Just put out tenders.
