Tv Playing Up

hello
i have a small freeview TV in dining room, last couple of weeks it has been playing up.
The menu won't always come up from the remote
it goes blank and then comes back on
when turned off the sound continues for a second but the screen goes blank
it wont always change channel
sometimes it will revert to a previous/other channel

I have switched it off / on, changed batteries in remote.
Any ideas before i bin it.

We are having exactly the same problem with our small freeview telly in the kitchen we have had the tv less than 4 years

Are you close to new 4G masts? That is an increasing reason for Freeview faults.
