Bathroom Sink Plug..................help

My bathroom sink has a plug which you depress to close and press again to open....................it won't open and the sink is full of water.

try turning the plug anti clock wise as you look down on it with the tips of your fingers

Sorry, no answer, just a note that, that's new fangled tech for you. Rubber bungs work ok. Best of luck getting an answer though. May all need dismantling if you can not get it to work.
Sorry I can't really help either but I would bail out the water into bath/shower and maybe the problem will come to light!
I have to use a knife to wedge in to open mine. Pain in the wassnames. What was wrong with the old-fashioned rubber or plastic bung?
