What is it with modern toilet cisterns??

Old ones used to 'just work' forever - I suppose a 3d washer change might have been needed every 20 years or so.

I've now had to fix my 'modern style' one twice in just over a year.

First the flush packed up

Then, last week, the filler decided it had had enough of filling.

Again it was a cheap part (£3 for a new diaphragm, from amazon this time), but a seriously fiddly job.

But it's done and I suppose I saved another £100 or so on an emergency plumber.

I'm off for a wee ...

Morning Dunny.....as you're becoming an expert perhaps you could do something about the wandering seat on my new loo.....looks like I'm going to end up on the floor again......☺
