Honeywell Cm307 Room Stat

Need to remove above to decorate behind. Have looked at installation manual and there seems to be some clips at bottom of sensor unit that connects it to backplate have tried gentle levering without success.
Any ideas?

Sometimes there are little plastic spring clips. You have to push the clip in with something small and pointy. Then the face unit just comes away.

TB thanks for advice but no such luck, but had to bite the bullet and with a pair of wide chisels and applying gentle pressure it popped. Happy days
