i have just bought a table and 2 chairs from international aid they are in black i want to paint the rest of my furniture black can you paint formica coated mdf? if so can you recommend a paint that would accomplish this?thanks for your help

You'd probably need a special paint (like tile paint) as you are hoping it will adhere to a very smooth surface. Unless prepared to rough it up a lot first.

What sort of furniture is it you intend painting ? Have a look at your local DIY sheds and see what paint they have on sell.

There should be a primer here to suit the purpose.
