I am thinking of replacing my decaying wooden garden shed with a metal shed, size 6' x 4' but I wonder how the contents of a metal shed endure hot summers and wet cold winters.

We use a stell container to store items such as flour etc that don't require refrigeration and have no real problems - if you are worried you could always paint it a light colour to reflect the sunlight. It depends where you are and the temperature. I'm in North East Scotland, so the weather may not get as hot.

Sorry - Steel Container

Should imagine its a bit noisy when it rains.
We have a metal shed and rain gets in through the door. Don't know if thats a common problem with them as it was left when we bought the house by the previous owners.
