Three times in the last two days my doorbell has rung but by the time I open the door a white van is disappearing out of the close....

Came down from the sewing room just now and the doorbell rang again....hurled myself down the hall..flung open the door and he was halfway up the drive....

Sweetie...I called.....is this the new Knock Door Run...but using a van for speed?

Oh no...he replied....I have been asked to collect your window cleaning money but as there is no car on your drive I just ring and leave because you must be out.....

My car lives in the garage....

Well, I don't know anyone who keeps a car in their garage....he said....☺
