Towel rail in holiday chalet not working, man came to fix it this morning. He fitted a brand new one. When he had finished he said "He seems to be heating up ok now, I would leave him switched on all the time now"
How did he know? What would a female one look like?
Is this a Cornish thing?

Not quite Cupid, male towel rail not on full power, a bit chilly for that yet, maybe later. But I won, the score so far is 2-1 to me!
I think it's a South West thing, we live in Gloucester and all inanimate objects from the washing machine to the ladder outside is a 'he'(according to locals) Never got it in the South East. Used to drive my son crazy!
well "he" is always to blame here ! ol

Hi masma, I'm an incomes in the Forest of Dean, and I have just remembered all the foresters say it.
We've been here for 11 years and still find the ' He's a good ladder' so funny :-)
