Batteries died in the outdoor temperature part, so I replaced them, whilst I was at it I replaced the ones in the indoor bit too.
Followed the set up procedure as described in this link to manual....
http://www.technoline-berlin.de/manual/4029665091303_EN.pdf

Indoor temp is displaying, as is the forecast, but cannot get the outdoor temp to display at all. No low battery indication light showing.
Anyone can shed any light please ?

tch.... 'can anyone'
Are you sure you followed the set-up procedure properly? The timing between putting the batteries in the outdoor sensor and indoor sensor seems to be critical. Tryagain; just remove 1 battery from each with them sitting side by side. Replace the battery in the outside sender, immediately followed by the one in the indoor receiver. Then leave the two sitting side by side for a few minutes.
Unfamiliar with the item but I'd guess it's not detecting the external sensor. Unsure what to suggest apart from maybe replacing sensor battery again, cleaning all battery contacts, and retrying any sensor detection procedures.

bhg, yes I waited the stated ammount of time before utting the battery back in, (less than 30 secs)
OG. I'll have another try doing all you and bhg said, will report back, thanks
I have 2 of these devices and it's important to put the battery in the outside one first. I always put the one in the receiver immediately afterwards and, as I said earlier, sit them side by side. The sender transmits every few seconds and the receiver has to find the signal and lock onto it.
Hi Ferlew,

I had exactly the same problem with the one I bought my daughter last Xmas.

I e-mailed the seller, and here is the reply.

Hello,

please try to put out batteries in the main station and in the transmitter for 12 hours. Then put them back, first in the transmitter, then in the main station.

If this will not help, please contact us again.

Thank you.

It didnt, so replied back, and they have sent a new one, and daughter sent the old one back.

Hope this helps.

Did exactly as advised and they are still not getting together. The transmit icon at the bottom came on for a little while, but nothing registered.
Will take out all batteries, and leave overnight ad try again. Thank you :)
Just another thought - one of my earlier weather stations had a switch whereby you could select different sensors. This enabled you to have up to 3 sensors in different locations and look at the temperature of each location. Does your receiver have such a switch and has it got changed to point to a non-existent sensor?
Question Author
No switch that I can find.
Was doing the 'off for 12 hours' thing, and Mr F kindly got up and popped the batteries back in early this morning.
Got em out again, and hiding them for 12 hours :)
