Hi!
We've got a car port covered with corrugated iron panels in our garden and it's slowly been leaking for a while after small pools of water started collecting and the leaks have bent the metal on the top of it quite badly so we need to get it sorted! Has anyone got any suggestions as to how we can fix this easily and cheaply (but also effectively!)
Thanks in advance!

I'm not a builder but I've seen how my neighbour dealt with a similar problem, which was to remove the corrugated iron and replace it with plastic:

IMO if the iron's so corroded that it's bent, replacement seems more appropriate than any leak blocking. Whatever material is used. If it's just a single panel maybe just replace that ?
I cant seem to imagine how water has "gathered" and bent corrugated iron sheets. Such roofing material usually has a fall that allows rainwater to run off. Wind can get under the overlaps and cause damage including bending or even tearing. I would be checking that the structure holding the sheeting is good and that it indeed has a slope or fall that allows water to run off. If the roof has been damaged by wind and is in a exposed position plastic sheeting is not going to hold out. The latest corrugated iron sheets are galvanised and not subject to rusting and rotting.
You need to replace the metal, if removing you might have to remove the whole lot, if not the whole lot Acrow props will help with supporting the roof as you replace each section, the Corrugated sheets I would replace with Heavy Duty PVC Sheets, you can find used on the likes of ebay / Gumtree, if you want to get rid of the lot, put an ad in your local Rag, Free Scrap for removing, scrap prices might get someone interested.

Here is one of clipclop's pics of her carport. Fingers crossed.

I would remove the Corrugated sheets & clean the metal, paint, either board & felt, it's not a massive job.

Board and felt??? :-/
Remove the Metal sheets, clean the remaining metal Cross bar ( Or are they wood that held the sheets in place) get Plyboard or Chipboard cut to length, lay them on the spars then felt using Felt nails, that would work out cheaper than PVC Sheets.

Would that all be waterproof? :)
If the felt is put down correctly then the joints sealed the job will be right, been there and done it with success. ( I'm no builder )
Clipclop that looks like a timber support system in the carport. It will have been set out to take the weight and size of the corrugated sheets. Replacing the sheets with boards and felt may mean that you need to replace the support system as well. Boards and felt will be much heavier and the roof joists do not look as if they will just allow boards to be fitted.( the boards need to be supported and fixed on all 4 edges) I think that the damage has been caused by someone standing or climbing on the port roof and would replace the two bottom rows of corrugated sheets.
The lady upstairs had felt on her porch roof. It was that that had come loose, eventually causing the leakage. After quite a few years, I would guess, clipclop. X

easily and cheaply .... straight over the top with new corrugated roofing sheets
The Original ones are warped "T" the overlap ones would not sit right.
