Does any one know how to clean the inside of a stainless steel flask ? I have tried boiling water and fairy liquid, with one of those bottle brushes but it still not as bright and clean as I would like.

From the Thermos website:
"To remove difficult stains fill your flask with hot water, add one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda. DO NOT put stopper on product while using this cleaning method. Soaking overnight produces excellent results. Always rinse before re-use".

Try baking soda with a bit of warm water and leave it to stand for a while mikey.

Never thought of that....thanks chaps !
We use kettle de-scaler every now and again on ours. Whilst we have soft water at home, after holidays we are conscious of the inside of the flasks being dull with limescale.
You're welcome :o}
There's also a flask brush.

1st class result !...inside of flask is now really clean and shiny !

I also cleaned the stopper in bicarb as well. These modern flasks just need the stopper turned half a turn and you can pour the tea out. But they get really mucky and are a beggar to clean, but not with bicarb !
