Trench Digger.
I need to dig a 30ft trench 1ft wide x 2ft deep across a long-established garden lawn.
Is there a small mechanical digger that would do the job without having to use a pick ? The digger must be small enough to get through a small garage.
Cheers.

HSS has both mini and micro models available:

Many other (more local) companies offer them too.
The main problem with getting through a garage though might be the height. However although the HSS Micro model (for example) is 2.23m high when working, the rollover bars fold down for access purposes, so that it should fit under most garage doors.
