What's The Best Thing To Wash My Glass Shower Curtian With?

Everytime I clean it there are patches of "scum" that I can't get clean. I can't use bleach as own a septic tank where we live...
I use scourers/micro fibre cloths the lot but to no avail. I've tried squirting on cillit bang and leaving them wiping and rinsing, but still there are patches...I'm unsure as to whether the glass is actually scratched with tiny little almost invisible scratches, as this would be the only reaon I could think as to me not being able to clean properly?

Any tips gratefully received.

You could try white vinegar. It's good for limescale and cleaning windows!
