Got my electric nail file today! What a surprise. I really thought it was a part of a pro manicure set.
No way.
It is a professional woodworkers tool, for carving.
It does engraving, routing, grinding, carving, sharpening, sanding. Polishing and Drilling!
I dread to think what it will do to my nails.

Is it the same as the link I put up, Caran? That's the one I use for my nails....I wouldn't use it for woodwork?????

Yes it's the same one. No mention on the box about nails, just a small mention on a leaflet about nails. There is also a little container with six different attachments for assorted drill type heads. I honestly used your link!

That's the one, Mamya...thank you....and yes....it's what I use on my finger and toe nails....can't see me doing woodwork with it.....x

Sounds like something has gone wrong in translation on the box, doesn't look like it would last long engraving wood.

Yes, Caran...mine has a box with six attachments....for tough nails.....tiny nails.....I do around my nails and cuticles with the very thin file....have you tried it?...x

I think Mamya has it, Caran.....I have just fished out the box which I didn't read as I knew what I was getting...
It does read as if it's a woodworking tool but it really isn't......I use mine all the time and never have to cut my nails....it wouldn't carve a lolly stick!
It keeps my nails in a nice shape and very smooth....give it a try and get back....x
