We are in the process of putting this down. One part of the attic has been boarded over and the Central Heating piping fastened over the top of them. No wish to disturb those pipes (only had them done last week) so the question is, if we cannot push the insulation under the boards can we just lay it on top, covering the piping as well?

Sure. In fact it's sensible to since insulation will make the attic colder.
Could lag the pipes too, if desired.
Yes, just don't stand on the pipes.

Thanks. All we need now is for B&Q to have the insulation in store and not soaking wet as some of it was last week. No use to man nor beast as it never dries out.
