Which has the highest sheen, Leyland Satinwood or Dulux Eggshell ? I don't like a very shiny surface.

Cheers.

If you go for the quick drying variety, Derek, both are quite low on sheen.

Thanks Ken. I much prefer oil based paint.
I thnk Satinwood is the glossier of the two but I don't want to get it wrong and waste money !
They're both about the same. Eggshell maybe slightly more shiney.
Satinwood looks a lot shiny when putting on, but after drying will look good. Quick drying is rubbish in my view.
Eggshell is the flattest of the three finishes, then Satin, then Gloss

I would imagine that satin is shinier than eggshell. Compare an egg with a bit of satin.
