Sash Windows

Anyone know how easy (Or difficult) it is to take a sash window out. We are potentially moving and because of the narrow doors we are going to have to either lose some furniture or put it in thru a window.

All early Georgian sashes.

All one really needs to do is not worry about making a mess and breaking stuff, it can all be fixed and probably look better than before.
