Only TWO out of five for me in the junior quiz though. (I couldn’t even get the World Cup question right, which shows just how much interest I’ve got in football!):

So I don’t even need to take my shoes and socks off to work out my aggregate score. I’ve just got enough fingers and thumbs to make the total come to TEN. You can beat that, surely, can’t you?
Well done on pipping me, by a couple of points, at the final hurdle, Jourdain2!
Guesses all count, Milo2! Well done with that 13 aggregate!
Another 13! Well done, Cashier!
And yet another one! Well done on being both a near-perfect grown-up and a near perfect kid (albeit a lousy sprinter) this week, Karamia! (There were no mince pies in Morrisons the other day. Well, not the ones I like anyway. Sob, sob!). I hope that your weekend goes well too.
It's -2C outside here at the moment, Kwillmott, with the temperature forecast to fall to -5C overnight. That sure seems like winter to me!
Well done on avoid any zero scores, anyway ;-)
[I agree that the four-part end of year quiz should be worth looking forward to , assuming that Aunty Beeb follows her usual way of doing things, of course].
I spend most of my life 'losing it' these days, Sam ;-)
Well done on just edging ahead of me this week. I'm in fine fettle, thank you, as I hope that you are too.
4/7 v 3/7
2/5 v 4/5
4/10 v 7/10
Just click on the least likely answer does wonders for your score and a black cat strolling across the keyboard also helps :-))
Hope you're all keeping warm tonight .
I've knocked the tail feathers off your Canary! Sorry about that ;-)
Well done, Haras2! You're our leader at the moment! (Or should that be "You and Shady are our leaders at the moment?" It seems that you got some help!).
We're all reasonably warm, thank you. (Moonbeam is on my chair downstairs, with his own personal heater. It's costing me a fortune to keep him warm. I'm upstairs, at my desk, with a little 450 watt oil-filled radiator tucked under my legs. Chequers and Tablo are asleep beside me, on my bed). I hope that you and Shady are nice and cosy - and that you'll have a good weekend together.
[If you ever happen to come across Bangla beer, I can thoroughly recommend it. As the name suggests, it's from Bangladesh. I had it in an Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant on Tuesday and it's far, far better than the usual Cobra or Kingfisher that one gets offered in Asian restaurants. Alas, no UK supermarkets seem to stock it though].
