Thermostat Error Code 1101

I had a new Worcester Bosch Greenstar condensing combi boiler fitted at the beginning of this year. Central heating is working fine, but the digital reading on the wall-mounted thermostat keeps showing 'Fault 1101', which will eventually go away if I push and hold in the central button, and the display goes back to normal.
Google not any help, so anyone have any ideas, please?

Thanks so much - that is my exact thermostat! Just need to work out how to open it to put the batteries in.....
