gloworm spacesaver boiler

i have a gloworm spacesaver boiler that the pilot light went out on when i turned the gas off for a few moments, when i relit the pilot light it lit okay and the boiler fired up but after about 10 mins it went out pilot light included i took the front cover off and checked everything no loose wires visible or anything looking untoward i put the cover back on pilot lit and boiler fired again going out after about 15 mins i took the front cover of again and lit the pilot everything again okay until i put the front cover on and after a while it all goes out the cover has not any wires on it nor is it trapping anything basically the boiler works when the front cover is off but it stops when it goes back on any help would be greatly appreciated as i dont want to get a plumber out who may charge a fortune when it could be somthing very simple.

Don't mess about with gas, get a CORGI registered gas fitter to fix it.

Try asking an engineer to visit but ask them to bring a pressure valve, one of the ideas our (very good) chap came up with over the phone was to loosen the front cover temporarily to see if the burner stayed alight as this lets more air in and would indicate the pressure valve was faulty.A common and relatively cheap item to fix he quoted around �80 max

I'm wondering why you turned off the gas, have you added anything that could affect the pressure or flow and have you turned it fully back on?
