Next check the thermostat - probably mounted on the hot water cylinder. Usually has a little dial with numbers 40 through 70. This is temperature in degrees C. Try turning back and forth - should hears a distinct click as the devices switches across. Next check for a diverter valve in the pipework. Usually in the aring cupboard near the hot water cylinder. Has 3 pipes going into it - one comes from the boiler with hot water, one end then feeds the CH, the other end should go to the cylinder. Has an electrical flex going to a block mounted adjacent to the brass body of the valve. When you switch over the timer/controller, can you hear this device turning slowly. What it does is switch the supply of hot water between the CH, the hot water, or both at once. Hope that gives you a few ideas, otherwise it may be a call to a plumber.
Thats good advice from Buildersmate, unless your boiler happens to be a condensing Combi boiler. ( if you have no hot water storage cylinder it will be a Combi ). Apart from ensuring that the domestic hot water switch, or domestic hot water thermostat are "on", I'm afraid there's not very much you can do, unless you are a qualified heating engineer.
There are 3 probable causes for your problem 1. The diverter valve is stuck in heating mode. 2. The domestic hot water sensor/thermostat is faulty. 3. The printed circuit board is faulty.
Best of luck.
