I have a coal effect gas fire and the glass screen goes very opaque when it is put on. Have tried cleaning it with all sorts from gneral household cleaner, oven cleaner, Household amonia all to no effect. It looks fine when not lit but as soon as it starts tio heat the opaqueness runs all the way up until you can hardly see the flames.... anyone got any ideas?
