I need to stay in London for 3 nights in June and I'm looking for a place to stay. However, I need a hotel room with a fridge, or a reasonably priced self-catering place with a fridge to keep medicines in as my travelling companion has various medications that need to be kept in a fridge! Can anyone suggest somewhere? I'm going through all the ususal websites, but it's taking me ages to find places that list this under room features! Thanks

Citadines appartment hotels (essentially a serviced appartment on a daily rate) have fridges. Check Expedia for locations and rates. (not convinced this link will work)

Another alternative is a Frio wallet:

It keeps insulin cool enough, so may work with your medicines.

I was right about that link. Try Expedia, and search for Citadines London and you will get 4 options.
You could stay anywhere that advertises a minibar fridge and ask the hotel to empty it for you and check the temperature.

thanks I came accross citadines on another website - looks promising.

Try http://www.apartment.co.uk/ and search results for London. Range of serviced apartments across the city - check locations and see what suits.

Also just search 'serviced apartments' and go through results as there may be more suitable options that come up with a little digging around.

All apartments offer 1 day minimum, and are graded and classified like hotel accommodation.

most half decent hotel will provide this facility for you if you organise ahead, although you might have to run down to reception everytime you need the medicine so depends how regularly the medicine is needed.

thanks everyone that's been really helpful!
I suggest you to choose a serviced apartment over hotel according to your requirements. You could find the facilities that include bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen like your home and everything in a working order. Serviced apartments are more flexible in terms of price than hotels.
