freexing larder fridge
3 Answers
Just been to get some fresh carrots out of the bottom shelf of my larder fridge, and they had frozen! the setting was no 5. Had noticed that the temperature around the fridge had been very warm the last few days, but there again, everywhere has been very warm. Has my fridge given up the ghost? It's only about 5 years old. Any advice welcome. Judy

In warmer weather, more warm air than usual is seeping in so the cooling bit at the back is having to work harder to keep the overall temperature down to that desired by the thermostat. Because cold air sinks, the bottom part is getting excessively cold.
