We are having the utility room floor tiled and with electric underfloor heating (Mesh/mat type).
Is there a suitable material to put under the freezer to stop it warming up?
Ideally 5-10mm thick.
Many thanks.

If you omit the freezer area this might be detrimental to the floor output.. While I would imagine you just want to take the chill of the room, I feel it would be better if you raised your freezer 25mm or so above the floor. This would let the air circulate and should you use the room for another purpose sometime then you have full output. Remember an area such as this needs overall floor temp. but not sitting room temps. Cheers Hard@it
