how do you change them ?

its quite a easy job if you know how to change them,depending on what sort they are,but quite honestly if you have never done that sort of thing before,get a plumber in to do it,a lot of problems can arise if your not sure about it.

We changed ours once. We thought they were fine 'till the ceiling in the kitchen caved in some months later!

If you do it or get a plumber in , ask for service valves to be fitted, which can be turned of with a screwdriver if you ever in future need to cut of the water to the taps without draining down everything.
