Intermitent Bathroom Light Switch

The pull light switch in my bathroom is only working intermittently. When the switch is pulled it either does not come on at all and takes several attempts or there is a few seconds delay and then the lights come on. Any ideas?

Put a new switch in,not worth messing about with,you wan't be able to gain access to inside the switch,and if you could it will just fall apart, Ray

Agree with Raysparx. Faulty switch. Replace. (Switch off house mains before starting work)!
