Combi bioiler hot water

After draining the hot water from my Ideal Mini C28 to change the pipe connection in the kitchen I cannot get any water from the hot taps but the central heating still works.
I assume that an airlock is to blame.
Any suggestions?

SInce the Ideal C28 is a mains pressure boiler i doubt very much an air lock would be to blame as any air would be forced through quite easily by the mains pressure. It is more likley to be the isolation valve that you used to turn off the water supply to the boiler has either stuck or is not turned on fully. Try turning it on and off a few times to see if it frees up and solves you're problem.
