Having a severe problem. When our toilet is flushed the water level goes to the bottom then rises very slowly way below where it should rise to. Our washing machine is now also not working properly as there is water sitting at the bottom of the actual machine with the clothes. Are these two probs related?

Father in law brought his jet washer round and blasted into the drain and we noticed the toilet bubbling up a little. I also put some caustic soda down the drain but doesn't seemed to have worked.

If so please help, if not please help!!!!!!!!

It maybe that you have a blockage in your main sewer drain, you will need to locate this and lift up the inspection cover to confirm this, be careful not to drop the cover into the drain itself.
