intumescent firestop?
I have recently changed a flat roof on the front of my property into a pitched/tiled roof. The building regs inspector has checked it out and said regs will be issued if I fit a intumescent firestop to the downstairs toilet vent that now opens up inside the pitched roof.this vent has to be connected by a form of ducting to the outside of the property by, for example, a vented tile.
Is this a job that I can do or do I need a specialist. Can the ducting be vented through a facia board. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase the bits required . Thanks.
