Got a problem with a mira zest 8.5 Kw electric shower the rotary water flow low med high control fails to work until you tap the unit.
When I isolate the electric to look inside I find that the plastic lever that responds to a cam on the spindle of the flow switch that in turn moves a metal rod down onto a flow control ? this fails to respond.
Because I have no manual I went onto the mira site and was amazed that there is no pics or any mention of the metal rod to the flow control unit that is clearly not responding when the rod tries to move the lever down any help would be appreciated Thanks tez

How old is your Zest?

You may need a new flow valve assembly.
