Fitting Three-Branch Light
2 Answers
I have just got a new three-branch ceiling light as a replacement for a very similar one. However, whereas the old one had just two wire to connect (plus earth) the new one has six - i.e. one live and one neutral for each bulb. The ceiling fitting has a total of eight holes, six of which are used for the incoming wires. Leaving a hole at each end which had been used for the old connection.
Do I take it that the three live wires are to be twisted together and go in one hole and likewise the neutral?
