You can get special radiator paint in most hardware shops, I have seen it in B&Q but think its readily available.
If you want it white, then that's true. Radiator paint is formulated so it doesn't go cream so quickly, given it gets hot.
If you want them the same colour as the rest of room, I have successfully used emulsion - the same colour as on the walls. I roller it on. Did you know what gloss white is absolutely the worst colour for radiating heat? (matt black is best - but who wants that). I've never understood the desitre to have white radiators - they stick out like a sore thumb.
i have always used white gloss and have been happy with the results.i have,nt had any rads fade and dont see the need to buy the v. costly radiator paint. i apply it with the rad on a low heat so it dries a bit more quickly and does,nt pick up any hairs or dust. try one rad for a look and see what u think
I use gloss/ satinwood/ eggshell the same colour as the wall you are painting. This gives a tough finish, & helps to disguise the radiator.
