Hanbook for Stoves cooker?
2 Answers
Can anyone help with a manual for a Stoves gas cooker model no: 059037804? I will happily pay photocopying & postage costs. My son & daughter in law have bought a 2nd hand one and the gas fitter says he isn't allowed to connect it without a manual. Stoves themselves can''t supply one.
Many thanks

the gas regulations also say your not suppossed to service any appliance that does not have an instruction book with it, if so then most gas engineers would soon be bankrupt as most householders lose the books.
as a long shot you could contact "gas on spares" in halesowen, birmingham and see if they have a manual. you will need to open the oven doors and look for the data badge and not the model, serial and the pnc number. there should also be a model name or number written on the cooker front somewhere.
gas on spares have a website has they do mail order and there phone number is 0121 585 7799

Thanks for that advice - I'll pass in on to son. It's a bit crazy asking for a manual to connect a cooker, mine's only a couple of years old and I'm not sure I could lay my hands on the manual if I needed to move it. Your point about fitters needing to do stuff without manuals to stay in business is a good one!
