What experience of wiring have you? If the answer is not much don't try it.
If you have done work before you need to tap into a socket ,bring out a lead through a switched spur outlet.locate the outlet at a convenient place for using as an on/off switch.Finally connect the light unit as detailed in the installation leaflet,observing colour coding of connections and ensuring the earth is connected.
All the above is carried out with the main power supply switched off and appropriate ring main fuse removed.
The unit will come with setting up instructions regarding location and adjustments.
But I repeat,if you are inexperienced DO NOT DIY,get someone who knows what they are doing to show you.

As this is a quite basic wiring job, if you need to ask , you shouldn't be doing it at all.
