Indesit Oven is Rubbish
I bought an Indesit oven which has just run out of guarantee. The panel with the transfer on which teels you oven temperture and oven settings have all worn off. The door does not shut properley and has burnt the buttons on the panel above it with the heat. They say tough luck, you can pay 99 for an engineer or buy a coverplan for 159.
I have only ever washed the panel with a damp cloth, not any chemicals. The oven looks about 5 years old, I think it's not fit for the purpose it was sold, what is the best procedure for pursuing this please?

An engineer came down and hardly touched it - then left because it was his "home time". By the time I could phone up and complain after the weekend, the guarantee'd run out!
I got no joy from Indesit - so went and bought a new machine with a different make!
