How do I convert a wall light designed for wiring into the mains into a plug in light.

Depends a bit on how its going to be mounted.Perhaps attach the fitting to a piece of wood which has been hollowed out at the back.Lead a 3 core flex though a hole through the hollowed out section and using connectors connect live to brown neutral to blue and yellow/green to an earthing point on the fixture,At the other end of the flex connect a 13amp plug. You will need the hollowed out section to accomodate the connectors
