I want to finish off my new paving with a white(ish) mortar like the ones I have seen on advertising pictures in B&Q and Wickes brochures, but when I have enquired at their stores they say they don't sell it. Can it be bought or made up and where from?

I'd be putting a can of white emulsion paint in the mix. After all it's water based and will mix with cement. Alternatively, I'd paint the joints with white emulsion........Ron.

Any sensible answers?
i doubt it
The idea might work - never tried it.
Believe you can get white Portland cement to mix in a ratio of about four to one with a light coloured soft sand.
Never had to do this.
Sorry if you felt my answer wasn't sensible. I know from DIY experience that emulsion paint lasts longer outdoors than oil based formulas. In fact, I have a section of ranch fencing which was painted many years ago with white satin finish emulsion and it hasn't yet flaked........Ron
G'evening ducey99....Believe me, I was honestly trying to be helpful; and am still bothered that you may have thought otherwise.

It is possible to buy a white cement and the following link may be useful to you.
