Is it only mine that does this?
Well, I know it isn't but anyway!

Do I have to wait till he does himself a serious injury before he will realise I can talk sense!?

Like a couple of weeks ago, come home, and he has carried the tumble dryer down stairs on his own. Ok, if I had been there, I wouldnt of been able to help, but atleast could of done something if something had happened!

Yetserday he happily starts drilling through the front room wall, went ok, then he goes upstairs, drilling a hole through the spare room wall, and drills into the electric cables, blowing the electrics to the house!

I seem to be the sensible one, but he wont listen to me! grrrrrrr!

Please tell me some of you have the same/are the same!?

On his birthday, book him on a health and safety course!!
My fella's well trained, keeps butting in in the kitchen as he's also been on hygeine couse!
yup - can't find anything, can't tell 'em anything and they never ask for directions. they're always right and most maddeningly leave a trail of destruction behind them (dirty washing, discarded stuff, half finished projects etc.).but - can't live without 'em either! the are good for snuggling (!), smell great (most of the time) and provide us girls with something to do during the day...love 'em!
hi wiggal men never listen they always think they know best ..!!!

taichi, I cant complain about him in the kitchen, as he does all the cooking and is very very good at it!

stonekicker, the way hes going, Im just worried he is going to do himself in!

Hey sleepy! He is driving me crazy! he just cant seem to see that what he is doing is really stupid, and whenever I say to him about it, his reply is 'Do you think Im stupoid or something!?' ot which my reply more often then not in these situations is yes!! Which he doesnt like at all, but Im not going to lie to him!!
It annoys me when Mr Funny thinks he knows best about cooking!!

He has never lifted a finger in the kitchen and all of a sudden,
"I'm doing it wrong!!!"

"You do it like this!!"

He is lucky I don't plunge the knife into his back!!!
You can't seriously be suggesting that you let a woman use a drill?
Question Author
Me use a drill??

Dont be silly! I cant stand loud noises so I hide and put my fingers in my ears when he uses the drill!

I wont even use a blender in the kitchen!!

It is a fact, men do know best because our brains are far superior to the females, the problem is, with us doing so many different tasks, over along period, sooner or later we may make the odd mistake, and theres always a bluddy female there to spot it, hence the need to post criticism like you have just done. :-)

Lol logic, you wish :-)

I could just about deal with the tumble dryer, but he didnt seem to get that I would be less then happy to come home to find him in a heap at the bottom of the stairs under the dryer!

But with the wal!? We know have dodgy wires in the wall, and also have to pay for an electrician to come out to fix it, but will have to get his brother in law to come and re do the plastering and decorate the room.

Although I dont mind that as much, as we have already asked him to do our front room, its just more hassle, and people invading my home!
Probably not relevant, and Whiffey will report me for being anti-men, I'm not ,well I married 2 of them. I once came back from a day out to find the house a complete tip. baked beans congealing on surfaces, toast crumbs everywhere. Every plate and fork I owned filthy in the kitchen. But mysteriously the sound of the dishwasher chugging away. When I asked what was in it, as the rest of the kitchen was covered in unwashed dishes, I was told "2 mugs for our next cup of tea" It never occured to the, now ex and his brother, to rinse 2 cups, or even fill the dishwasher before running it

He has after all just bought me a 10,000 car, and I havent yet booked my driving test lol!
