the plug with the red light on that works the shower
when shower is switched on the fuse blows in the plug
is it the plug or the thermastat in the electric shower
any answer please urgent PH

Domestic plugs do not have the current-carrying capacity to run a shower. I'm not surprised the fuse blows. Electric showers must be run from a fuse box or consumer unit using a permanently fixed cable and a suitably rated switch. See here.
