Re-tiling shower

What is the best sheet material to tile onto for a shower ,do I use WBP plywood or marine ply or aqua panel?

Aquapanel, but it is also the most expensive.
Wickes do a similar product which is cheaper (I think).
Using the right sort of board is worth it - it is a small price compared to the cost of the tiles and your labour in doing it.

aquapanel or similar. Have done many and had no problems. Well worth the extra money. If ever the grouting fails then there is no need to go the extra cost of having to replace a timber or plasterboard backing.
PVA goes slippery under the tiles if the grout fails and water gets behind. Wrong answer, Doc.
you can overboard with no more ply completly waterproof and cheaper than aquapanel i use these in most wet room installations.
