pvc window sealant.

some of the pvc windows in or house aren't very draught proof anymore esp in our bedroom and the spare bedroom(our bedroom's freezing this time of year!). have seen pvc window sealant in a diy store. is this any good?is it really any different to bathroom sealant ? or any ideas to help. thanks in advance.

I use kitchen or toilet paper pushed in with a wallpaper stripping knife, or similar, and if the weather changes I pull it out again `til` the next time.
