roltop bath

i have a rolltop bath i want to paint the underside lilac wot paint should i use ive bin told i can use eggshell is that true.

...sorry Sag.....................got distracted for a while...............

assuming it's bare metal ...............just use any good metal primer first............then eggshell would look good :o)
