water leaking while shower off

I have an electric shower, cold water comes out of shower head when the shower is off. well, the on/off knob can be turned 720 degrees. it only controls the amount of water coming out, doesn't stop it. I really appreciate it if anyone can give me an idea of how to fix it. Thanks for your help.

Not an expert on instant showers but it sounds like you have a seal that is damaged or worn and needs to be replaced
