Floor sockets
I'm trying to install floor sockets in laminate flooring, and am having difficulty trying to get them aligned both vertically with the laminate and horizontally so that they are at the edge of a section of laminate (I'm trying to avoid cutting squares in the laminate).
The wooden laminate is on underlay, which in turn is on a concrete floor (where I've left gaps for flush mounted pattresses to take the floor sockets) which has electric cables to supply the sockets in tiubes in the concrete. The concrete in turn is laid on a damp proof membrane.
How can I get the floor sockets properly aligned, horizontal and anchored in the floor?
